“There’s No Place Like Simple”

Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore…..
Yesterday I ended up working almost 17 hours straight on this website, from making the decision, settling upon a hosting service, setting up shop and moving some of my stuff in. I didn’t make it to bed until almost 3 a.m.
Imagine my surprise when my eyes pop open at 9 a.m. this morning! I tried to go back to sleep, but it just wasn’t happening.
So here I am, back at work. I haven’t even started a cup of tea yet–who would have thought me so dedicated?
I plan to move some more of my blogs over to this site today. The import process converts all of the tags to categories, and since I went tag happy on all of the posts (especially my earlier ones) the category section of this site is going to look a bit strange while I fix all of the categories and tags for each and every post (and there are several hundred between all of the blogs).
Once all of that is done, then I hope to properly cross-link all of them, verifying that all of the hyperlinks are accurate and stuff. Slow going, but I will get it all done, and then everything that I am will be on this one simple website.
So please be patient as I get the kinks ironed out, I am working as fast and as hard as I can. I know that once the entire move-in process is completed it will make things a whole lot simpler (just one blog to promote and contribute to instead of several), but I’ve been slogging around trying to figure out how to go about this for over a year–and that is a LOT of posts!
While you are waiting for the dust to clear check out my latest post on the Self-Reliance Exchange or read my review of Sevastian Winter’s ebook “The NonConformIst’s Guide to Getting Out of Debt.” I’ll be here, in the background, moving in the furniture.
Have a nice day!
