Every purchase we make (or don’t make) is a choice and makes a difference on this earth. Every item we buy, experience we take, gift that we give, service we use is a vote we make for something.
Some of these purchases may seem innocent but are they really?
Here is a letter that was found folded up between two styrofoam headstones in a Halloween decoration kit:

Found by Julie Keith, this letter describes conditions behind the forced labor camp that allegedly made this product.
For more information about this letter you can read the original news post here.
The next time you go to buy that little trinket, think about where it came from. Do you want to support stuff like this?

Oh how I agree. In our pursuit of “cheap” we sell our souls. When we support something with our dollar, we are a part of it. We will only change the world through mindful action and our choices.

Sounds about right like here under the communist obama administration , keep voting red savages!
I try to avoid buying products made in China, having only slipped up on two items this past year. I knew conditions were bad for many workers, but didn’t have any idea we were getting forced labor camp products into the US. I will definitely be much more vigilant. Thank you for sharing this.
Remember the horrible deaths from renal failure of thousands of dogs and cats caused by the use of melamine in wheat gluten from a factory in China that was used in so many pet products back in 2007. All those recalls. All the guilt people felt for unknowingly feeding their pets poison. And it was in baby formula as well. And even in recent year many jerky treats for dogs from China causing illness. Its all over the news. I try not to buy made in China anything if I can help it. Also I try to purchase local as much as I can.
