Work. Wander. Rest When I Can.

Words of wisdom for all of us.

The title of this post is the answer that Kwai Chang Caine gave in the pilot episode of “Kung Fu” when asked what he would do next.

It is advice we all should follow.

For in this world we must work to live. We must wander, not necessarily physically, but at least mentally in order to grow.

And we all need to rest when we can.

Such simple words, yet they contain much wisdom.

And in that wisdom we find what we must do to survive our modern age.

I’ve written a lot of books sharing my odd view of life in hopes of helping others. My most notorious book is titled The Shoestring Girl: How I Live on Practically Nothing and You Can Too, but The Minimalist Cleaning Method is pretty popular as well. You can find them at the following places:

Amazon
Barnes and Noble
Apple iBooks
Smashwords (non-DRM)

  1. There was a man who slept when he needed but rose and worked when he was rested. His productivity was through the roof but the man’s schedule ran polar opposite to what the majority of the population did. He was fortunate enough that he could live this way. Being rich does have its privileges. Most of us have to do as we are dictated to. My schedule would be odd indeed if I could work when rested. 😁
